Planning is in full swing for the 2022 Governor's Conference on the Future of Water in Kansas! This year's conference will be in person at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, Kansas on November 16 & 17, 2022.
This is the 11th year for this exciting conference, which will highlight the latest policy and research developments of water issues in Kansas, as well as highlighting the updated Kansas Water Plan. It will attract hundreds of attendees, including state and Congressional legislators, state and federal officials, organizations, and citizens who share an avid interest in our state’s water resources.

This year we welcome Dr. Roger Pulwarty, Senior Scientist at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Colin O’Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation.
Dr. Pulwary has designed and led widely-recognized programs dealing with climate science and services. His over one hundred articles, book chapters, and technical reports, focus on climate science, risk management and information services in the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean.
Under O’Mara’s leadership, the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is focused on improving management of and access to public lands, restoring America’s water bodies, and advancing environmental education. The NWF is America's largest wildlife conservation organization, and O'Mara is regularly called before Congress to testify about wildlife, water, and sportsmen issues.
