The Kansas Water Office, Kansas Department of Agriculture, and Kansas Department of Health and Environment will be conducting local consult meetings between July 28, 2026, and August 27, 2026, to elevate water planning and share insights on existing and future funding.
Attendees will have the opportunity to share work that is being done as it relates to water conservation, quality issues, and funding related to community infrastructure and regional planning. The meetings will also allow Kansans to learn about the state’s water supply and how it impacts local growth or sustainability, as well as explore future opportunities to ensure a clean and robust water supply.

The August 19 meeting will take place at the Kansas State University Student Union from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. located at 918 N MLK Jr. Dr., Manhattan, KS. The meeting will take place in Forum Hall.
